A fine pair of square silver plated occasional tables, retaining the original smoked glass tops (with minor losses to the corners), all supported on fluted legs in the Classical style with topie feet.
Jean-Henri Jansen, originally from Denmark, founded the interior design house Maison Jansen in Paris in 1880. Jansen began creating traditional interiors that also incorporated the prevailing trends of the age such as the Japanese style, the Arts and Crafts movement and the Turkish style.
